  • When does my Koda Pet product expire?
    Our products have an 18-24 month shelf life from time of manufacture. Each item has a small, white sticker on the back or bottom with the Lot Code and Best By date on it. Our Best By date lists the month/year, so a Best By date of "06/2028" would be best by June of 2028. Can't find the white sticker on your product? It may fallen off by accident.   • For How Long Do Koda Pet Products Stay Fresh Once Opened?
    Humidity and oxygen exposure are two of the biggest factors affecting the "freshness" of products that have been opened. Our products do best when stored in a dry, cool area, sealed in the container or pouch they come in. Alternatively, you may store them in an airtight container of your own. Some customers have also told us that they store a week's worth of treats in a zipper storage bag and keep the rest in the original packaging.     The best way to be notified about when a product is back in stock is go to that product's page and click the "Notify Me When Available" button and enter your email address (see below). You'll receive an email notification the very minute that product becomes available! You may do this for as many out of stock products as you desire.   • What experience do you have with pet health and nutrition?
    Our family stepped into the pet industry in April 1990, way back when Vanilla Ice was breaking onto the scene and The Simpsons aired its first full season... yeah, that long ago! From 1990 to 2022, we owned pet supply retail stores and helped to educate thousands of pet parents, working one-on-one with them to solve their pet's individual health and nutrition problems, seven days a week, 361 days a year (yeah, we took four whole days off each year!). We've dealt with everything from allergies to yeast overgrowth, sensitive stomachs to hot spots, tears stains to obesity, picky pets to UTI's and more. We also got to see everything the pet industry had to offer pets; the good, the bad, the ugly. In 2011, Koda Pet Foods was started with the goal of offering unique treats that were not only minimally-processed and healthful but also irresistibly delicious! Papa Psuka was introduced in our two local stores and the rest is history.
